Services

UOSSM’s Health Program offers a range of services, including primary healthcare for basic needs and preventive measures, alongside specialized secondary and tertiary care for more complex medical issues. Custom response models cater to specific healthcare needs, while diagnostic services address testing and COVID-19 response. Additionally, the program supports school health initiatives, provides continuing education opportunities, facilitates patient referrals, and implements vaccine projects.

Health Care Program

The Health System Resilience Program focuses on leveraging technology solutions to address fuel dependency, energy security, shortage of qualified health professionals, lack of efficient equipment, and frequent malfunctions of medical equipment.

Activities

The Health Program activities encompass a variety of initiatives aimed at promoting community health and well-being. This includes education and awareness campaigns, training for healthcare professionals, and the establishment of healthcare facilities. Additionally, the program conducts immunization drives, provides medical consultations and treatment, coordinates emergency response efforts, conducts research, and collaborates with governmental and non-governmental entities to address health challenges effectively.

Networking

Networking within the Health Program involves establishing connections and collaborations with various stakeholders to enhance the delivery of healthcare services and achieve program goals. This includes fostering partnerships with local healthcare providers, government agencies, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), international health organizations, and community leaders. Networking efforts aim to facilitate resource sharing, exchange of expertise, and coordination of activities to address healthcare needs efficiently. Additionally, networking helps in accessing funding opportunities, sharing best practices, and advocating for policy changes to improve health outcomes within the community.
